It's been a couple of weeks since the Android app launched, but Xbox 360-owning iOS users can finally get their first look at SmartGlass in action today. Microsoft has released SmartGlass as an update to its existing Xbox Live app, bestowing it with the same abilities to control your console from your phone or tablet. Some similar functionality came in an earlier update, but SmartGlass has a much more robust interface, especially on iPad. It also carries the promise of future screen-to-screen interaction in games and media. One slight drawback — despite the delayed release, the app still doesn't fit the iPhone 5's taller screen.
