Researchers at the University of Portsmouth have created a staggering online database cataloging bombs dropped during the World War II London Blitz between July 10th, 1940 and June 6th of the following year. The Bomb Sight project aggregates information on individual bombings that was previously only available from The National Archives, and organizes it all in a free, educational, easy-to-use map. You can explore the site for information on each bomb dropped, see historical photos taken nearby, and even read stories from individuals who were in the area at the time. The creators are also developing an augmented reality app for Android, which will allow users to explore London using GPS to display bombs that were dropped in the area, but there's no word yet on when the app will launch.
