As we expected, Russian site Mobile Review has posted an extensive preview of a Sony prototype device called the Yuga. While the key selling point of the phone is still the 5-inch 1080p display, the preview has revealed some more impressive specs. The Yuga is powered by a Qualcomm APQ8064, the same quad-core processor that's found in the HTC Droid DNA, LG Nexus 4, and LG Optimus G smartphones; has 2GB of RAM, and LTE connectivity. It also features standard Sony / Android ports like Micro SIM, Micro HDMI, Micro USB, and microSD.

Other details fell in line with what we'd previously heard: the Yuga has a 12-megapixel camera, runs Android 4.1, and is controlled using on-screen buttons rather than the capacitive keys of some previous models. We're still expecting to hear more about the Yuga, including its real name, at CES in January, but in the meantime Mobile Review's preview is nothing if not thorough, and includes full benchmarks and dozens of screenshots, so check it out at the source link below.
