Apple has just pushed out iOS 6.0.2 to eligible devices, which purports to fix a long-standing Wi-Fi connectivity bug that has plauged iOS 6 since launch. Apple has already tried to fix this once before with iOS 6.0.1, but it seems that the problem has persisted, necessitating today's update. It appears there are no user-facing features to speak of, but this should be a relief to those affected by this particular bug — assuming it straightens things out this time. It's worth noting that some users, including some editors at The Verge, are currently having trouble with Apple's software update tool, but it should be available sooner than later.

Update: Sounds like the update bug has gone away and the 51.4MB iOS 6.0.2 update is rolling out now.
