In the early 1980s, unrealized TV show Wired In was meant to cover the rise of gaming and computer culture. Some of the edited demo footage ended up on archive site Mediaburn, including clips of Bill Murray and Lily Tomlin. But there's also mostly raw footage that never made it to that stage, including a 16-minute clip of factory workers assembling arcade cabinets for Ms. Pac-Man. Below, you can see Midway Games factory employees rolling the machines through the assembly line, then testing everything from the game's controls to the quarter slots. It's a look not only at a piece of gaming history, but at a bygone era of manufacturing.
