T-Mobile's cooked up its annual Valentine's special, with all of its 4G range of handsets as well as the T-Mobile Springboard tablet for free with one of its two-year Classic contracts today only. That's a pretty broad selection, which includes recent phones like the Samsung Galaxy S II, Nokia Lumia 710, and HTC Amaze 4G. The Springboard's also an interesting inclusion, since tablets aren't often bundled into these deals. The Huawei-built tablet runs Android 3.2 on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, with 16GB internal storage, and a 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display.
While the phones might not exactly be true 4G, with T-Mobile's network maxing out at HSPA+, the range is still impressive. The deal is only active today, Saturday 11th, in T-Mobile's stores, but if you want to get the jump on the offer, many of the handsets are already available for free online.
Update: T-Mobile has posted a tweet saying that, owing to system problems today, the deal has been extended until tomorrow.
@TmoNews V-Day sale is a big hit, but our systems R having some trouble. We’re on it. If we can’t help U today, we’ll honor the sale 2morrow
