Only a couple of days after details of the rumored HTC Endeavor smartphone leaked, xda-developers users got their hands on a leaked RUU (ROM Upgrade Utility) from HTC that apparently contains the phone's software. The included ROM gives away a number of new details about the phone, most notably that it will be heavily skinned with what appears to be version 4.0 of HTC's Sense UI skin. HTC Hub explored the software, and it looks like most of Sense 4.0 will be the same as previous versions. The unlock ring, app icons, and overall aesthetic remain unchanged, though there do appear to be two new lock screen options in Sense 4.0 that give easy access to either contacts or notifications (the latter looks a good deal like the iOS Notification Center). There are also a few new ringtones and wallpapers in the new version. We're still without any official news from HTC regarding the Tegra 3-powered Endeavor (though we've seen Sense 4.0 a couple of times now), but we've got a pretty good idea of what we'll be seeing when the handset does see the light of day — which could be at MWC in a few weeks.
