It looks like Apple taught Samsung a thing or two with the launch of iBooks 2 and iTunes U, as Samsung just announced its own education-focused tablet app, the Learning Hub. Samsung plans to show the app off at Mobile World Congress next week, but divulged a few details before the show. The Learning Hub will offer 6,000 textbooks and educational videos from 30 providers, multimedia teaching tools, note taking, and be aimed at traditional education markets as well technical training. Samsung said the app will initially be available for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9, with plans to make it available on other Samsung devices in the future. Only Samsung Korea has announced the Learning Hub, so we'll have to wait to see if it's coming to other regions.
