Square Enix has finally released an iPad version of Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions following the game's iPhone and iPod touch release last August. The company had been promising a big screen conversion of the classic strategy RPG for a while and has seen fit to charge a hefty $17.99 on the iPad, two dollars more than the otherwise identical iPhone version. The enhanced War of the Lions edition of Final Fantasy Tactics was originally released for the PSP, as an update to the PlayStation original, and is actually also available on the PlayStation Store for $9.99 — making it possibly the only game we know of to be more expensive on iOS devices than the PS Vita.
