Facebook may have disappeared from the PlayStation Vita's US app store without so much as a "goodbye," but you don't have to be so cold when dealing with your friends: LiveTweet will take care of your Twitter needs, and starting this week, Foursquare will let you check in. That's right, Foursquare's available on the PlayStation Store, just a week after it arrived in Europe, and whether you've got a Wi-Fi or 3G Vita, you should be able to use the service. Sony's description says it works better with a 3G unit, though, which makes sense given the dedicated GPS there, not to mention the far easier ability to roam about with a cellular data signal instead of relying on a Wi-Fi connection. It's a 4.5MB download in the PlayStation Store, and while you're there, you might as well check out some brand new Vita game demos, including Reality Fighters.
