It sounds like the PlayStation Vita's online store is coming to life today — Joystiq is reporting that the US PS Vita is able to browse and purchase five games and some other content in the PlayStation Network store. The titles currently available are ModNation Racers: Road Trip, Hot Shots Golf, Super Stardust, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and WipEout 2048 — the same titles that went on sale at GameStop yesterday. You can also access existing content, like the whole library of PSP games that are available online. Joystiq even managed to get an online game of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 going, so it's clear that Sony's getting the full online infrastructure ready to go, not just the shopping experience.

These games are also reportedly available on the PS3, but currently the PSN's search is not working — possibly to keep curious users from finding these games before the official launch. While there isn't a whole lot of sense in buying these games without a console to play them on, it's still exciting to see the console's ecosystem slowly come to life.
