Well, what do we have here? Canon has sent us an invitation to an April 15th event in Las Vegas that seems sure to be about the company's professional EOS Movies camera line — especially since the invite is reminiscent of the one we received for the unveil of the Canon Cinema EOS C300 camera last year. It's also a good time for the company to show off its cinema chops as plenty of movie-types will be in Vegas for the National Association of Broadcasters Show that week. There's no telling precisely what Canon has in store, though we suspect it may be more info on that 4K-capable EOS DSLR prototype we saw last year. While we'd love to see some new hardware, the invite says that it's a "very exclusive screening," so maybe we'll just being seeing some pretty video shot on the new C300. Whatever it is, you can be sure that we'll let you know as soon as we do.

/Canon has sent us an invite for an event in Las Vegas on April 15th. The invitation is cinema-focused, so we suspect we may see more of Canon's 4K EOS prototype, though you can never know for sure. We'll let you know when we hear more.
