Moebius, who passed away last week, was one of the most influential comic book artists of the 20th century and beyond, but you could be forgiven for not knowing it. While he contributed to works as mainstream as The Fifth Element and Alien, much of his work was pretty surreal and niche for those not immersed in the world of comic art.
