The high-resolution on Apple's new iPad is a perfect way to show off Rdio's new graphics-heavy redesign, so the company wasted little time updating its app with Retina-ready album art and app graphics. Version 1.3.6 will cost you 5.6MB of storage space, which isn't so bad given what we've heard about app sizes increasing as graphics are updated, and it's available now for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The new graphics won't do much for the latter devices, though the update does also include the ability to play up to 100 songs on your Collection Stations. We're fans of Rdio's new look, and the new iPad appears to be the best experience yet for users of the service — and of course, that Rdio has an iPad app at all is still an advantage over Spotify.
