We've already seen some of the Ivy Bridge laptops and ultrabooks we can expect when Intel's 22nm processors finally begin shipping, and now we're getting a glimpse at a hybrid with the Teso K116. Retailer Alibaba has a listing for the device, which consists of an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 slate with a detachable keyboard dock. The design definitely puts the K116 in the same stable as the Asus Transformer series, but Teso's computer is a pure Windows system, aimed at both the current version of Microsoft's operating system as well as the touch-friendly Windows 8. While there are no details given on the clock speed of the processor, the device is listed as coming with with either 1GB, 2GB, or 4GB of memory depending on the model, and will feature SSD storage ranging from 16GB to 128GB. As for pricing, the system is listed as between $400 to $600 depending on configuration, but those prices are for lots of 1,000, not straight-to-consumer sales. There's no shipping date noted, but we expect to see the K116 arrive — under one manufacturer's name or another — later this year.
