A new rumor suggests that Dell will be releasing a new, thinner version of the XPS 15, which will feature a 15.6-inch Gorilla Glass display. Dutch site Tweakers.net has the supposed leaked details, which claim that the new laptop will be just 0.95 inches thick, shaving a bit off of the original's 1.3-inch size. Its display features a 1920x1080 resolution and white LED backlighting, while internally it will include an Ivy Bridge CPU and an option between a Nvidia GeForce GT 630M or Nvidia GeForce GT 640M GPU. There's also support for USB 3.0, HDMI, Bluetooth 3.0, and an option of either a 1TB HDD or 512GB solid state drive. Along with the details there's also a single image that shows the laptop from the front — and reveals a style somewhat reminiscent of the HP Envy 14 Spectre, which also includes Gorilla Glass. No date was revealed, but with Ivy Bridge processors slated for an April release, we likely won't see the new laptop for a few months.
