The game is an incredible blend of cinematic sci-fi storytelling, action-packed gameplay, and deep RPG-esque customization. Plus, it was anointed "Game Of The Year" by various publications, Seth Green voice acted in it, and it achieved an astronomical 96/100 on MetaCritic, making it one of the site's top ranked games.

Sure, Mass Effect 2 is a couple years old and retails for a still-inexpensive $19.99, but there's no better time to snap this one up if you never got around to playing it. Once you have it, finish it as soon as possible (though it might take you in excess of twenty hours), because Mass Effect 3 comes out tomorrow.
