Nokia's Lumia 900 is available to pre-oder in the UK from today, through Phones4U and the Carphone Warehouse, with availability expected "in the coming weeks." Though Nokia won't commit to a specific release date, Phones4U is more bullish in promising handsets for April 27th while the Carphone Warehouse plays it safe with a pledge of May availability for the Windows Phone 7.5 device. The UK variant of the Lumia 900 won't differ dramatically from the 4.3-inch smartphone that just launched in the US, although it does lose out on the key feature of LTE connectivity, which is replaced with HSPA+.
While the Carphone Warehouse is only offering a pre-registration page for now, Phones4U is ready to take pre-orders of the black or white Lumia 900 today, sweetening the deal on the white model by bundling in a free Play 360 Bluetooth speaker. The white 900 will be an online and in-store exclusive for Phones4U, adding to its exclusives on the white Lumia 710 and Lumia 800, making it the only retailer to offer white Lumias on the UK high street.
