Sony's SmartWatch, already available in the UK for a good month or so, is making its US debut today, at a price of $149.99. We first laid eyes on this Android smartphone sidekick back at CES this past January, where we were informed of the planned US pricing and the ways it can augment your mobile connectivity. Using the SmartWatch, you can read texts, emails, and social status updates, control music playback, and even activate your phone's camera. The wrist accessory uses Bluetooth 3.0 to connect to your Android 2.0+ handset. The Sony Store will have the first units available in the US, to be followed swiftly by the usual reseller outlets.
