TestFlight, an iOS app testing service, unveiled a revamped UI today, in an apparent attempt to streamline and simplify its functionality. The tool, which was acquired by Burstly last month, allows developers to distribute their apps to beta testers before launching on Apple's App Store. TestFlight is already among the most popular testing platforms among developers, and today's redesign should only fortify its position.

With this cleaner interface, users will be able to choose their preferred build from a dedicated table, and access their history for apps with multiple builds by clicking a new "More" button. It's also easier to navigate between apps, thanks to a breadcrumb designed to help developers retrace their steps out of build mode. The process for managing users, distribution lists, and invites remains the same, though user details are now displayed in a new modal window.

Aesthetically, the redesigned display looks much less fragmented and noticeably brighter, having nixed its gray borders in favor of a more austere white background (see before and after images, above). Overall, the new layout seems substantially more user friendly, and should come as a welcomed change for many within TestFlight's developer community.
