The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the "hologram" Tupac Shakur which made its debut performance last weekend at Coachella might launch a full tour. The hologram generated a lot of buzz but received decidedly mixed reviews from fans, attendees, and the media. But now a "person familiar with the discussions" tells the WSJ that both Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, who appeared on stage with the faux-Tupac last Saturday, are actively considering a tour with the hologram act. Dr. Dre first approached the company that created the illusion about a year ago with the idea of creating a virtual Tupac, and began working on the Coachella performance about four months ago.
