Japanese firm Marudai has unveiled a new iPhone 4 case that turns your delicate smartphone into a bulletproof slab of metal. For ¥52,500 ($650), the case adds a 1-inch thick layer of steel to protect the back of your phone, while the front (excluding the screen) is covered with machined aluminum. The manufacturer claims that the case can withstand a .50 caliber bullet. Of course, the added protection comes with a price — namely the fact that your phone will be big enough to put the Galaxy Note to shame, as the case measures in at 138 x 81.8 x 39.6 millimeters and weighs 2.1 kilograms (4.6 pounds). Thankfully you won't have to completely sacrifice style for function, as it comes in both white and black variants — you can order yours right here.
