Chinese manufacturer Oppo has teased a 6.65mm-thick phone that's poised to take (temporarily, we're sure) the title of "world's thinnest smartphone" from Huawei. Engadget China has a render of the unnamed device, and it's apparently a full 0.03mm thinner than the interim champion, the Ascend P1 S. There isn't much else to say about the phone right now, but a cursory glance at the render reveals what looks like an aluminum outer band along with a row of Android capacitive keys and a three-pin connector for attaching to a dock. Is HTC right? Do we all dream of thinner phones? Or is this a battle that no one really cares about anymore?
