A week ago Verizon detailed a software update for both the Motorolo Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx, and now the changes have started rolling out to users. The over-the-air update — known as 6.12.181.XT912.Verizon.en.US — adds a number of fixes and features to the RAZRs, including improvements to device stability, security, and battery life. The smartphones will now also support IPv6 protocols and there are fixes for a few other issues including Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity and text message delivery. You can get the full list of changes from Verizon at the source link below, and the update should be available now.
