Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has previously opted to sell her fantasy book series at Pottermore.com, an online portal setup exclusively for Harry Potter ebooks and other writing from Rowling. It appears that might be about to change soon though. Amazon has started dropping rather large hints on its Kindle pages that some "wizardry is on the way" alongside an owl that bares an uncanny resemblance to Potter's own Hedwig companion.
Kindle users have had to use a Pottermore account to buy and obtain a copy of the Harry Potter books previously, priced at $7.99 for the first three and $9.99 for the final four books. Amazon isn't commenting on its Harry Potter hints, a spokesperson asked All Things D to "stay tuned for an upcoming announcement," hinting further that the company could be planning to announce the additions imminently. If Amazon is able to offer the ebooks at the same price or less than Pottermore.com then the convenience of its Kindle store is sure to push Harry Potter into its bestseller charts once again.
