Asus has taken to Twitter to announce that Android 4.0.3 is now available for the Eee Pad Slider in the US and Taiwan. The 10.1-inch netbook-cum-tablet hasn't received quite as much attention as its transforming stablemates, with the Transformer Prime receiving the update to the latest version of the OS back in January. However, that's not totally surprising considering the relative success and better performance of the Transformer, as detailed in our review of the Eee Pad Slider.
UPDATE. #Android ICS release v9.2.1.21 hits the Eee Pad Slider SL101 today in the US.

The update is available OTA now for US and Taiwanese devices, or alternatively you can grab it direct from the Asus website. Releases elsewhere in the world are also on the way, as evidenced by a tweet from the company that it will reach the UK "shortly," though there's no release schedule set just yet.
