Last week, we heard about a new LG smartphone with some pretty hefty specs, including a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, a 13-megapixel camera, and 2GB of RAM. Now, BriefMobile has gotten its hands on another image of the rumored LG LS970 — this time with the battery cover off, confirming that the phone in fact has a non-sealed design and a replaceable battery. Other than that, there's not much else this photo brings to the table, but it does make us want to see an image of the phone's front leak out. While the image might not tell us much yet, this phone should have some unique features aside from its powerful specs — BriefMobile claimed last week that the phone includes a separate chip for voice-over-LTE (VoLTE). Still, this phone isn't supposed to launch until near the end of the year, so there's a lot of time for more rumors and leaks before this all becomes official.
