In January Verizon revealed that it would be activating global roaming functionality in the Motorola Droid 4 and LG Spectrum, but it appears the HTC Rezound may also be on deck. Droid Life has a photo of a purported Verizon store product display tag, which specifically calls out the global feature — allowing the phone to be used in 185 additional countries — as "coming soon." We first heard rumors about the inclusion of GSM radios within the Rezound from some individuals at xda-developers, who discovered a "global mode" earlier this year; the phone is used as a CDMA and LTE device on Verizon's network. Droid Life doesn't provide a hard date for when the feature will be activated, but given that Verizon said the Droid 4 and Spectrum would "likely" see global capabilities in the first half of this year, we wouldn't be surprised to see it arrive sooner rather than later.
