Apps that allow cable or satellite subscribers to stream video to Apple's iPad are par for the course at this point, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. Cox has recently updated its TV Connect app with some interface tweaks that should make browsing available programming easier. A new grid view in the 1.1.0 update provides a more streamlined layout over prior versions of the app, while users can also view listings for all channels (though they'll have to go to their TV to watch any programming that can't be streamed to the app). All doesn't appear to be perfect, however, as some users are leaving reviews in iTunes denoting authorization problems with the app after the upgrade, but if you're a Cox subscriber and would like to try it out for yourself, it's available for download now.
