Just as promised in March, Sony has started rolling out Android 4.0 updates for two of its Xperia smartphones, the Xperia Arc and Xperia Neo. The update is coming to both devices in batches, so you'll need to check Sony's support forums — here for the Neo, and here for the Arc — to see if your particular phone is eligible just yet. Meanwhile, the Xperia Arc S, Neo V, and Ray are all being update as well, bringing the trio to version 4.0.4 of the OS. As for other Xperia smartphones, Sony has said that a second wave of rollouts is due in early June, so owners of the Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Pro, Active, and Live with Walkman should be receiving Ice Cream Sandwich in the next few weeks — though unfortunately Xperia Play owners are stuck with Android 2.3 for good.
