The Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 that we saw last month is being prepped for launch. The S2109 will go on sale at Office Depot and on Lenovo's website in "early June" according its press release. The S2109 features an 8.9mm-thick plastic unibody shell, a 1GHz OMAP 4430 dual-core CPU, and 1GB of RAM. It will come running Android 4.0, and is one of the few 4:3 tablets on the market with its 9.7 inch, iPad-like IPS display. The IdeaTab S2109 also comes with a few additional features, like a microSD slot, SRS audio, and a Micro HDMI port. Although its specs may not be considered top of the line, the S2109 is part of a growing category of mid-range tablets, like the Acer Iconia A200 and Asus TF300. But at $349, is a $50 savings enough to lure customers away from the iPad?
