Eizo has unveiled the latest in its FS line of gaming monitors, which includes three different "smart" features to give players a competitive advantage. The 23-inch Foris FS2333 features a new mapping technology called Smart Insight that's able to pick out dark areas on the screen and make specific details more visible — which should make it easier to pick out enemies hiding in the shadows. The feature also includes multiple settings for both real time strategy games and first person shooters. Aside from that, Smart Resolution helps reduce blurring without increasing the noise in an image, while Smart Detection is able to sharpen the image specifically where the action is happening.
On the hardware front, the FS2333 includes a 1920 x 1080 IPS display, dual HDMI inputs, DVI-D and D-Sub ports, and a remote for quickly managing the monitor's features. And while gaming is clearly the primary focus, the monitor also includes five preset viewing modes depending on what your doing, whether it's reading or watching a movie. Eizo hasn't announced pricing details for the display yet, but you can expect to see the FS2333 start shipping some time in July.
