Google Offers is now available for iPhone, joining the company's existing Android app and placing the service on equal footing with local deal competitors Groupon and LivingSocial on Apple's iOS platform. The native app was released in the App Store today, though - much like Offers itself - is only available to those in the United States. After signing in (and enabling location access), you'll see a list of nearby deals with the day's most popular offer taking the top spot. Results can also be displayed in a map view or sorted by business category, with a "My Offers" tab keeping track of your saved / purchased deals. Google has even taken advantage of some iOS-specific features like push notifications, alerting you when one of your offers is about to expire. Most deals can be claimed directly within the app; payment is handled via Google Wallet through an in-app browser window.
Google Offers is a free download in the iTunes App Store, and while there's currently no iPad version just yet, you can always run the iPhone app on your tablet if you're on the hunt for some local savings.
