Pre-orders for Nokia's 808 Pureview went up on Amazon a couple of days ago, and the product listing has now been updated to include a July 8th release date. Available in the United States exclusively through the online retailer, the unlocked smartphone will cost $699 and is 3G compatible with both AT&T and T-Mobile SIM cards. Interestingly, while Amazon provides a laundry list of features for the 808 Pureview — especially its 41-megapixel camera sensor — it fails to mention that the phone is running Symbian, an omission that may make for some disgruntled purchasers later down the line.
