Just what sort of image quality does an enlarged 41-megapixel image sensor get you anyway? We're in the process of answering just that question in our Nokia 808 PureView review, but until that's posted, how about a gallery of sample images using this handset's signature oversampling technology? Nokia uses a clever algorithm to compress the information of 41 megapixels into just five, improving the fine detail and quality along the way. There's plenty more to say about the camera's capability of shooting full-res 38-megapixel images as well, but for that and our in-depth analysis, you'll have to come back for the full review early next week. For now, feast your eyes on the video and pics.
Protip: If you make it all the way to the end of the gallery, you'll find side-by-side shots with the 808's flash on and off.
