Aquabotix's Hydroview is a tiny submarine you can control by tilting your smartphone or tablet, and now it's finally available to purchase. It's designed for doing some underwater exploring remotely, as it's equipped with a camera that can capture 1080p HD video and images of the depths below the surface and wirelessly transmit them to your phone, tablet, or laptop. It even has LEDs so you can snap footage of darker areas. The sub looks largely the same as when we first saw it last year, weighing in at nine pounds and equipped with a battery that lasts only two hours. The price has jumped, however, and will now cost you $3,995. You can see a sample video below, though unfortunately the team says that it was taken using an older prototype with a lower resolution, so you don't get the full HD effect.
