The Asus Transformer AiO's 18.4-inch screen is definitely impressive for an Android tablet, but today Japan-based Kouziro launched an absolutely gargantuan tablet that measures 21.5 inches — half an inch shy of ViewSonic's 22-inch Smart Display. The FT103 21.5 SmartDisplay tablet runs Android 4.0 on a dual-core TI OMAP 4428 processor, and the screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a pretty low pixel density of 102 ppi (for comparison, the Nexus 7 clocks in at 216ppi). The whale of a tablet weighs in at 11 pounds with the included AC adapter, and because the tablet doesn't have a battery, that adapter is its sole source of power.

Since no one in their right might would plan to leave the house with it, the FT103 would make a great second monitor for a computer setup with its kickstand and HDMI input. Another reason the FT103 is probably best integrated into an existing setup is the fact that the storage capacity can't be expanded beyond 8GB, but the meager storage space bodes well for the price: the tablet-bordering-on-television costs ¥34,800 (about $438) and will ship in late July.
