The Toshiba Regza T-02D is the successor to the T-01D and, theoretically, an imaging powerhouse. Its 13.1 megapixel Exmor R sensor uses the same backlit technology as Sony's Cybershot compact cameras. In addition, Toshiba says it can extend up to a 25,600 "equivalent" ISO, and though that high ISO should help in low-light situations, we'll have to see it in the real world before we can know for sure how it performs.
Apart from its imaging prowess, the water and dust-resistant Regza T-02D runs Android 4.0 on a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor running at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM and a 4.3-inch qHD "NEW AMOLED plus" display. Interestingly, this is a step down from the T-01D's 720p display of identical size. The Regza T-02D comes out in Japan on July 26th in pink, black, and blue for an unknown price, and we can't imagine it'll be heading overseas any time soon.
