Let's go ahead and address the elephant in the room: this is not a concentrated dose of On The Verge. That is a late night talk show for tech enthusiasts and forward-thinkers hosted by Joshua Topolsky, or so iTunes tells me, and is filming tonight. While On The Verge can run anywhere from 46 to 93 minutes, we're lucky to be 1/31 of that. So though we at 90 Seconds on The Verge are not nearly as cool, we are here every weekday, barring holidays when we like to sleep in very late. That's what you look for in a show, right? Dependability? It's more than we can say about Twitter, Netflix, and Google Talk right now, that's for sure.
But wait! Don't go! Tonight we've got TC Sottek making his debut as host. (FYI, it's not, as it turns out, pronounced "so-tech.") He'll be holding your hand and explaining why Kansas City is now a strong contender for best place to live in the United States.
Stories of the day:
- Google Fiber: everything you need to know
- Netflix site search and other features down for some due to technical issues (update: resolved)
- Twitter currently 'experiencing issues,' engineers working on a fix (update: restored)
- Google Talk IM service currently down for 'majority of users' (update: resolved)
