Last month, rumors of a Sony smartphone with the somewhat-odd "LT30p" name started making the rounds, but now there's more concrete info on this phone thanks to the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. Apparently, the LT30p will be part of Sony's "premium product line," with a 13-megapixel back camera capable of shooting 1080p video — plus a front-facing video chat camera that'll be capable of 720p video, a nice upgrade over most mediocre front shooters we see. It'll have a similarly nice screen, with a size of 4.6 inches and a 720p resolution. Physically, the device sounds like it should be a relatively svelte and attractive package — it's about 9mm thick, weighs about 140 grams, and comes with a metal back cover. Hopefully that won't cause any issues with wireless reception. Unfortunately, there still aren't any photos of this phone, and there's no word on when it might launch, but we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more official info.
