Just in case toting a 17.3-inch, 8.39-pound laptop didn't make you feel conspicuous enough, Samsung is revamping its Series 7 Gamer with a higher-performance GPU, a 3D screen, and a bright yellow finish. Known in Korean as the Samsung Series 7 Gamer Yellow 3D, the new model features an AMD Radeon HD 7870M graphics card in place of the original Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M. Its 3D LED display delivers 400 nit of brightness, and a new hard disk setup provides a 128GB SSD for quick booting and a larger 1TB drive for storage. According to a post on the official Samsung Tomorrow blog, the refreshed machine will be available to Korean gamers from tomorrow, priced at 2.99 million won (about $2,647) — information on international availability has not yet been released.
