T-Mobile is pushing an over-the-air update that both resolves a few minor bugs and reportedly eliminates universal search, according to users on xda-developers. Samsung is preparing these updates as a "precautionary measure" to stave off a repeat of the injunction that temporarily barred the Galaxy Nexus from sale in the Google Play store. Similar updates have been pushed to Sprint and AT&T variants, while international models have seen the feature come and go.

The update (version T999UVLH2) includes Samsung's video streaming AllShare Cast app as well as a fix to the Mobile HotSpot app. It also addresses an issue with folders arrangements after reboot, as well as a tweak to the "add contact" functionality. The update weighs in at roughly 94MB and is available to download right now.
