How many times have you tweeted from your table at a restaurant? What about settling debates using Wikipedia? Eva, a restaurant in West Hollywood, is attempting to bribe customers to leave their phones at the door by offering a five-percent discount on the final bill in exchange. 89.33 KPCC reports that Eva's owners are looking to create a home-like environment; "we want to people to connect again."

Apparently, just under half of Eva's customers have exchanged their cellphone privileges for a discount since the deal began, and there have been no complaints about the policy. We're not sure whether smart watches are exempt from the deal, but Chris Ziegler will certainly hoping so.
