Microsoft announced Windows 8 has been released to manufacturing earlier this week, but as users await the final bits on August 15th, one blogger has managed to install and document a tutorial process for the new Metro Start Screen. In the final version shipping to PC makers, Microsoft has added a guide during the setup process of Windows 8 which is designed to highlight a "new way to use Windows."

Following concerns over the usability of the newly positioned Start button, Microsoft's guide starts by demonstrating ways to swipe in from an edge of the screen to reveal the charms bar. The hot corners, for accessing the charms bar and app switcher, are also displayed during the short tutorial. We understand that this tutorial will be a default experience for every copy of Windows 8, allowing Microsoft to teach users how to use the new interface before its Metro Start Screen is displayed.

The guide may address concerns that traditional Windows users could lose their way with the Start button replacement, but the merits of Metro on a keyboard- and mouse-driven PC will likely be discussed heavily over the coming months as the general availability date approaches on October 26th. One thing's for sure, Microsoft is ready to teach the world how to use Windows 8.
