Reports have emerged from Germany and the Netherlands of a new over the air update for the HTC One S, bringing with it Android 4.0.4 and Sense 4.1, the latest version of HTC's proprietary skin. According to Dutch blog All About Phones, the package fixes a number of bugs, with the lighter footprint of Sense 4.1 speeding up aspects such as the HTC camera app. It also comes with some new features, including the EA Gamebox gaming hub — revealed in recent test builds — and something described as "a remote control unit to repair by HTC," likely a diagnostics tool. It is not yet clear when One S users elsewhere in the world can expect to receive the update, but it is unlikely to be too far away. Owners of the flagship One X have already received Android 4.0.4 in a set of staggered packages.
