Microsoft is today further expanding Bing's social sidebar with the addition of Quora. The question-and-answer site is the latest service to see integration with the feature, which complements traditional search results by providing relevant data from "friends, experts and enthusiasts" according to Microsoft. Facebook and Twitter were among the first partners included in the social sidebar after Bing underwent a redesign several months ago, and we've seen Yelp and Foursquare added to the mix since.

Beginning today, those searching Bing in the U.S. will see Quora contributors in Bing's sidebar. From there, you can hover over each Quora user's name to view relevant questions and click to go directly to any answers they've provided. Of course, whether you find that information trustworthy is another matter entirely, though Quora has worked to ensure quality and distance itself from competitors like Yahoo Answers by insisting that members go by their real names on the site.
