A little over two weeks since T-Mobile’s launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note and the phone is already disappearing from online retailers. Unofficial T-Mobile blog Tmo News first pointed out that the phablet is gone from the T-Mobile website, along with Walmart’s, and is marked as "closeout" on Costco’s site. Is T-Mobile really discontinuing the Note so soon after releasing it?

T-Mobile tells us that "the Samsung Galaxy Note is currently out of stock online via www.T-Mobile.com however the device is still available for purchase at select T-Mobile retail stores." But that still doesn’t explain why the company isn’t offering it online, or why it’s being dropped from other online retailers, although it could simply be a matter of low inventory. We know that Samsung is unveiling the Galaxy Note’s successor next week, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions.
