AT&T has released a Facebook app for its U-verse service, allowing subscribers to access to the social network on their TVs. The app lets you do pretty much everything you can do on Facebook (browse your news feed, post status updates, check out friends' profiles and photos), on your TV, and you can also share what shows you're watching. Just last month AT&T updated its U-verse app for the iPhone and iPad with social network integration and other features, so it's clear the company is pushing social integration with its U-verse service. What's not entirely clear is why someone would need Facebook on their TV instead of just using their smartphone or laptop to access the popular social network. However, for those just dying to scour their friends' photos on the big screen, the Facebook app is available now and supports up to ten Facebook accounts per U-verse television.
