Spotify is making it easier for Americans to subscribe to its streaming music service without a credit card, announcing physical gift cards for the US market. The cards are available now at Target stores across the country in $10, $30, and $60 denominations, which roughly correspond to one, three, and six months of Spotify Premium service. If you don’t happen to be situated near a Target, the service has recently re-instated its e-card program in the US as well, letting you buy single-use redeemable codes online. In comparison, competitor Rdio has been selling its own gift cards at Target for just over a year, and has already expanded into Canada — Spotify’s next international target.
