PC versions of Sleeping Dogs will ship with a slew of graphical enhancements, hardware optimization, and support for the latest AMD and Nvidia features, Square Enix announced.

According to a newly revealed trailer and information on the official Sleeping Dogs blog, Sleeping Dogs will run at 60 frames per second at 1080p resolution and will release digitally in North America, with both digital and boxed versions available throughout Europe.

The upcoming title will also feature performance enhancements for dual and quad core PC setups, enhanced performance for Nvidia SLI and AMD Crossfire, keyboard and mouse support, keymapping, and optimizing for 3D and multi monitors on AMD and Nvidia hardware.

In-game shadows will receive an upgrade with support for high-resolution shadow textures and high quality shadow filters, as well as support for Screen Space Ambient Occlusion.

Those who pre-order Sleeping Dogs through Steam will gain access to eight new items in the Team Fortress 2 Triad Pack, including special abilities for Pyros, Heavies, Scouts, and Spies, as well as new hats, swag, and tattoos.

The game is scheduled to release August 14th in North America, and will be made available on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
